Video Editor (INTERN) Are you passionate about creating video content, do you see a future for yourself in web video? Are ready to jump-start your career?  Then Stylit.TV wants to hear from you!  Stylit.TV is an Online Woman's Entertainment Network start-up looking to expand our team with new digital/tech talent! Position Summary: We are in need of a skilled video editor intern to join our team.  You will be charged with editing content for Stylit.TV's online programming.  At the conclusion of your Stylit.TV internship you will have built an incredible reel and, most importantly, credit.  This job could potentially lead to full-time employment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Editing content into 3-10 minute programs to be viewed online at Stylit.TV and partner sites Working with Chief Creative Director, Producer and Director to create quality online video content and programming Required Skills:

  • College student or recent graduate with a major in Cinema or Television (College students must be able to recieve college credit)
  • Skilled in Final Cut PRO
  • Creative eye
  • Works well with other and able to take direction
  • Your own computer and portable hard drive to work on editing jobs
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Flexible schedule able to commit 10-20 hours a week

  • Able to operate video and sound equipment
  • Creative eye

  • Your own HD-DV video camera a plus
  • Ability to work independently

You will be charged with producing written content for Stylit.TV's online programming in the areas of: - Mommy Blogging (seeking at least 1) - Fashion Blogging (seeking at least 1) - Beauty Blogging (seeking at least 1) - Tech Blogging (seeking at least 1) - Celebrity Blogging (seeking at least 1) - Stylit.TV Contest Blogging (seeking at least 1) At the conclusion of your Stylit.TV internship you will have built an incredible portfolio of professional writing samples. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Writing/Producing blog content to be viewed online at Stylit.TV
  • Working with Chief Creative Director, CEO, and Blog Editor(s) to create quality blog content
Required Skills:
  • College student or recent graduate with a major in Writing, English, Journalism or simliar (College students must be able to recieve college credit)
  • Previous blogging experience A MUST!
  • SEO skills A PLUS
  • Social Media skills A PLUS
  • Works well with other and able to take direction
  • Your own computer to write blogs
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Posting quality content frequently to Facebook/Twitter accounts
  • Monitoring Facebook/Twitter activity and responding to customers
  • Working with the Chief Creative Director, CEO, and Blog Editor(s) to ensure professional standards are being met and maintaining Stylit.TV's uniform "voice"
Required Skills:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Management of a specific marketing campaign (ie: Superbowl campaign, Valentine's campaign)
  • Identification of potential campaign partners
  • Outreach to potential partners regarding collaborative projects/campaigns
  • Database management of existing and potential partners
Required Skills:
  • College student or recent graduate with a major in Communications, Business, Marketing or similar (College students must be able to recieve college credit)
